SICK POLICY

Connections SLP serves many children, some of whom may be especially susceptible to illness. Our policy requires that children be fever free for at least 24 hours before an appointment. In addition, children who are coughing, sneezing, vomiting, have a snotty nose or any other cold symptoms should be kept home. Children taking antibiotics for contagious conditions should remain home for the first 24 hours after beginning the treatment.
